I am pleased and honored to participate with you today in the Third Sharia Departments Forum titled 'Sharia Audit on the Financial Statements of Islamic Banks,' organized by Al Salam Bank. This forum represents an important platform for exchanging expertise and enhancing cooperation among professionals in the Islamic financial sector.
This forum comes at a time when there is an increasing need to develop both theoretical and practical concepts in Islamic financial jurisprudence, in order to keep pace with financial market developments and ensure compliance with the noble principles of Sharia. Qualifying Sharia and professional cadres in Islamic banks is the cornerstone for ensuring the quality of financial products and services, and for strengthening the trust of both clients and regulatory bodies.
I emphasize here the importance of integrating Sharia knowledge with practical experience, and of working as one team to provide innovative and balanced solutions that meet the needs of our time, while maintaining integrity and fairness in all our dealings.
I thank the organizers of this forum, and I look forward to our discussions resulting in practical outcomes that contribute to the development of Sharia and financial work in our institutions.
